I wish I had money like you did for your dog. 😔 I just spent everything I had getting a tumor removed and now she hurt her back and is paralyzed. I’m loosing my place because I would rather take care of my dog than loose her. I can’t afford surgery but I’m still doing everything I can even if it means we will be homeless again 😔

I know people will be mad at me, but I will still mention this. These are not dogs. If they could talk, they would say how much they suffer. They can’t breathe properly, can’t get their females pregnant naturally, can’t walk properly due to a disproportionately big belly, can’t regulate their body temperature, has separation anxiety, has gut issues, has skin problems and much much more. They are just selectively bred for money and cuteness. They have been selectively bred for years just for their cuteness, without taking into account that their genes have suffered due to lack of variety. It’s like breeding a cat with a small monkey to get a cute animal that ends up with all the health problems of both. Read up on French bulldogs before buying one.

I wouldn't give her water immediately. Try to cool her externally first and then introduce water when she's calmer.

Idk a lot of other videos I’ve seen on character design don’t recommend putting in life drawings. Tho showcasing you know life drawings by having solid structural character designs that are anatomically correct and on model is key. But actual life drawings…no. Show that skill thru well drawn characters and practice that skill to improve your character design anatomy tho. P.S: take my comment with a grain of salt I am not a character designer just an aspiring one who’s watched a lot of videos on it for research purposes. Also a lot of the other tips beyond that one are 100% useful and good!

I think a lot views here are from people like me, who are interested in the Frenchies issues. I belive they have great personalities and they deserve all the love. But please dont support breeding dogs to a shape where they are suffering by just existing in their bodies. Breed dogs to a naturaly healthy shapes and give them the same ammount of love that you give a deformed dog like this.

Watching this in 2024 and recently watching Tangled the series and love the art and I always been in love with characters and behind the scenes but I am confused and I would love to work with the department of how a character should look like and their outfits but I can't seam to know what the department or type of job is called for that position and since I am looking for careers to study once I graduate high school I would love your help in guiding me of what the proper name would be for the specific job. Modern technology is no match for the SPEED OF BOB!

Bob Ross: "It will happen automatically." Everyone else in the world: "How the heck did he just do that?!?"

"To try to make digital brushes look like real paint..." Once you unlock that, then the world is your oyster!

What a hugely tallented man. And woman. (And doggo.😊) Not used Photoshop outside a few bits for work, but I pretty sure there are some far better programs for 'real painting' out there now. Even so, the end result was stunning. I especially like how she didn't simply directly copy Bob this time; just the techniques.

A Disney artist watching Bob Ross and saying a bad word is deeply funny to my inner six year old.

The imperfections of working on canvas with brushes and knives actually plays to the benefit of Bob's style of painting and I could see where some of it was difficult to recreate in the more exact medium of digital - especially when trying to recreate the roof shingles. Very interesting.

A bit disappointing that you didn't actually follow Bob Ross. You just copied.

Not even with modern tech can a person paint at the speed of a Bob Ross. While technically close the original looks much more three dimensional while the computer version looks like a 2D cell.

Great demonstration about how fast Bob Ross was. A pro digital artist needs to pause the video to try to follow it because doing similar textures that Bob Ross was able to make with one or two brush movements are still impossible to follow with even a high quality digitizer pen.

Krita might be better software than Photoshop for this kind of painting.
